The BBC Wild Isles series in 2023 has shown us how important spaces for nature are for the UK's wildlife and for our own well being
Our vision is to develop a nature reserve by converting this field of grassland into a range of different habitats that over time will increase biodiversity and encourage wildlife. A space that, although for wildlife first, can be enjoyed by everyone.

ONE YEAR ON!
It has been an incredible year for Wild Maple Trust. The field is already transformed with hundreds of tree saplings and a new hedge, and every day there’s something new to see. We’ve learned new skills and forged new friendships and partnerships, too.
Changing our world is possible, just one step at a time
